Welcome to Cute Cards and Crafts by Jamie and the third Fantabulous Cricut Crawl...Fantabulous Cricut's version of a blog hop!
In honor of the approaching Christmas holiday, we're having a "Deck The Halls" Crawl...each Design Team member will be featuring an original Christmas/Holiday-themed project that could be used to decorate and spruce up their homes for the Holiday Season!
If you've come from visiting the super talented Helen @ Crafting Cricut Mom, you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our Fantabulous Cricut Crawl, start HERE!
Make sure to check out each DT member's blog for some awesome inspiration! There will be PRIZES along the way at our DT members' blogs, AND there will be a Grand Prize up for grabs at FCCB for one participant that submits a "Deck The Halls" project at FCCB! How fun is that?
For my project I started with a 1x6 I bought at home depot. I had my sweet husband cut it for me into 3 equal pieces (I think each one ended up being 24 inches long) Then I painted the whole thing with 2 coats of white craft paint. After that was completely dry... a few days later for me... I used my painters tape and masked of some areas to look like candy cane stripes. Then I used Barn Red and painted the areas that were still exposed. After that was completely dry... a few days later... I used some black vinyl and my Lyrical Letters cartridge and cut the letters at 2.55 on my Gypsy.CraftOManiac.
For my blog candy Robyn at My Pink Stamper has donated this fantabulous set. I have this set and love it so I know you will too :) to win this just leave a comment on this post. I would love for you to follow me but you don't have to. I also have a Facebook fan page HERE if you would like to check that out and become a fan I would love it! :) And make sure to check back every day this week for some other fun projects and another great prize, you wont be sorry unless you don't come back! ;)
Now it's your turn! Let's see your Christmas/Holiday-Themed Decor projects! Make sure to include a Cricut cut somewhere on your project!
