These were pretty easy to make up, my sister needed one for a shower she was going to so this is what I came up with. The bride was cut from Sweethearts at 3.25 and the die cut is from Elegant Edges cut at 4.40 on my gypsy. Paper is from the Lemon Flower stack by DCWV and the sentiment comes from Pink By Design. Have a great day!

My first clear cards- wedding
These are super addicting to make. I started with an 8-1/2x11 sheet of plastic, scored, then cut in half on the opposite end. I used Sweethearts to cut my rings at 2 inches and cut them twice, 1st with white shimmer paper then using the shift key I cut it out with gold paper. My sketch is actually from an old issue of Sheetload from a few years ago, I miss that online sketch site :( anyway the papers are all from DCWV Linen Closet stacks. I added some stitching around the brown frame and a sentiment form Studio G. I have to add that I really love Studio G stamps but I was getting frustrated with them not stamping great so I stopped buying them. On a recent trip to Micheal's I decided I would try the ink that's made for them and what do you know, it stamped perfectly! I'm a happy stamper now :)
The key to making cards on clear card blanks is to make sure you are cover the inside so there is a place to write on and then also covering the front enough that when someone writes inside the card, the writing doesn't show through ;)
Thanks for stopping by, Be sure to check back all week long for some great cards leading up to Jenny's birthday blog hop on Friday :)

For my project I decided to go with a cute wall art. The scalloped squares are from a pre-made Die Cuts With A View stack so all I had to do was tear out the 3 grey sheets they are 8x8. Next I found some pattern paper I wanted (this happens to be DCWV as well) and I scored it with my Martha Stewart score board at every 1/2 inch mark. If you are doing fan folds I would highly recommend NOT using a light weight paper such as pattern paper, I had tons of problems with it but loved it so much I couldn't throw it out and start over with anything else! So after I was done with that I Used my Storybook cartridge and cut the "I" and "U" out at 3-3/4 on some dark red cardstock. I used my Sweethearts cartridge and cut that cute scalloped circle out at 3-1/2. I used George to cut the inner white circle out on a Terrifically Tacky Tape sheet and then after I had stuck it to the red hear I flocked it with white. I also used some silver cord to go around the heart leaving enough to tie it into a bow in the bottom right hand corner! I used my Mini Monograms to cut 2 small scalloped circles out of a different shade of grey at 2-1/4. I find that hot glue works best for adhering the fan folds so I used that to adhere everything on. I found this cute variegated pink ribbon in my stash and added it to the top for a cute "hanging" look.

Anniversary Cards or Wedding?! :)
So here ya go, I whipped up these as well for my mother in law (she needed 30 anniversary cards and I didn't want them to all be the same) on these I used the Sweethearts cart. again and cut the silhouette at 4-1/2 I changed out the ribbon to be different again and give her some options... I also inked the edges with coordinating ink so the red ribbon has red ink, the purple ribbon has Amethyst ink from CTMH and the Silver has black since I didn't have any silver ink. All paper is DCWV. Anyway I hope you like them, have a great weekend :)

Bright Anniversary Cards
I thought I would throw some bright fun pattern paper from DCWV behind these silhouettes. They are cut from the Sweethearts cartridge at 4-1/2 some I did with the blackout feature and some I left with the detail cuts inside. Used different border punches and the sentiment stamp is from Papertrey Ink. Thanks for stopping by, tomorrow I will have another card using this silhouette.

Sweet Pea- Peachy Keen #26
made some more of these cute pea pod babies, a bit different but the same idea. I needed some little boys :) This one uses CTMH paper pack called Stardust, white gel pen, CTMH stamp set called Girly Girl, Stickles, Peachy Keen stamps PK-570- Basic Paperdoll face Assortment and black Versafine ink. I was going to enter these in this weeks Peachy Keen Challenge #26 but I couldn't think of any up-cycled item to add, unless you count the scraps I used from the garbage can... you also had to have orange and white, stitching- either hand or sewing machine, and any peachy keen stamp.
This one is the same except the background is orange not green.
I used my Cuttlebug with this card and the swirls folder, then I went over it with the Platinum Planet ink for some pretty shimmer and I added some pearls from Kaiser Crafts.

Mr. & Mrs. with Car using Sweethearts
Another requested wedding card I put together. I used the Sweethearts cartridge for this one and cut the car at 3 inches on the Linen Closet paper, if you haven't seen this stack it's a must if not for both at least get the cardstock stack, its full of really great shimmer cardstock :) I also used some DCWV embossed paper for the background and then I took my Brilliance ink pad called Platinum Planet and ran it over just the embossed areas and the edge of the card base. I also added some black polka dot ribbon and the "Mr. & Mrs." stamp is from Studio G, stamped with Versafine ink.
This is the inside of the card, this was cut at 1-3/4 I didn't think it would cut that big and really wanted to use it so on the inside it went, I only adhered it down the left side and bottom so that the person giving it could tuck the $$ down in there.
