Thinking of You's with DCWV paper

I made these up really quick. I love the DCWV papers and all the options you have with their stacks. These papers are from the "La Creme" stack. I just paired it with a cream card base, added some pretty black satin ribbon and a butterfly from some scraps I had  and then added a rub-on sentiment from my stash. Butterfly was cut at 2 from Art Philosophy.
This butterfly was from another scrap of paper not DCWV
and since I couldn't throw away the scraps I threw them on this card!

Happy Birthday Butterfly

I had a piece of this plaid leftover from the Lemon Flower stack and wanted to use it up so I came up with this design. I used Art Philosophy for the butterfly cut at 1-3/4 then I added some rub-ons for the sentiment. I also used a Fiskers border punch and some buttons from CTMH.

March Card Class

Here it is the cards we will be making for the card class on March 6th at 5:30. If anyone is interested let me know my email is in the side bar ;) We will be using the Lucy paper pack, Art Philosophy cartridge, Tag The Occasion, Remarkable Wreath and A Garden stamp sets, as well as Glittery Buttons, Bitty Sparkles and Flutter Shapes. The cost is $15 and that includes everything pre-cut and ready to go except adhesive, you will need to bring your own. You will leave with 2 each of the 3 designs shown in the 1st picture and lots of extra paper left from the pack which will be at least 3 pattern papers and 3 card stock sheets. If you live out of the area but would like to sign up the cost will be more for shipping in to you.
These last 2 pictures are ways you can change up the design by just using a different stamp in the same stamp sets listed above or changing out the paper.

Happy Birthday with a butterfly

These cards were super easy and fast and that's what I LOVE. The silver glitter is from DCWV, I used a border punch on the bottom of that, tied some ribbon around and adhered it to the card base. The sentiment is from a CTMH called "Happy Birthday" The butterfly was cut at 2 inches from the Art Philosophy cartridge. I inked the edges of the butterfly's with Creme Brulee ink. You can see a before and after photo of those below. I also added some sparkles to the butterfly's. :) Ribbon is from Papertrey Ink.

With Sympathy, Thinking of You and Happy Birthday

These are some fairly easy cards I made using the Papertrey Ink Asian Fusion stamp set. I also used a Clear Dollar Stamps set that is retired. I used white ink to make the background paper 1st (picture below) then I cut it to the size I needed and inked all the edges with white again. I rounded the top right with a corner rounder. The tag shape is from the Art Philosophy cartridge cut at 3/4 on some of the cards and 1 inch on others, depending on the sentiment I used.
Here is a look at the paper in the beginning stages of stamping the background.
The tag on this one is a 3/4 and the sentiment is from CTMH Say It In Style stamp set.

Bird on a branch... sympathy and thinking of you

I received a card from a card swap with my CTMH friends and there was a card similar to these ones in there, I knew I had to re-create it. I cut the bird from Art Philosophy at 2 inches and the branch at 1-1/2 and 1-3/4. I like the 1-1/2 size better. Paper is called Sonoma from CTMH. The swirl stamp behind the bird is from Autumn Leaves and I used Smokey Plum ink. The sentiments are all from Papertrey Ink. I also added a little opaque mocha pearl for the eye.
This sentiment is from the Say It In Style set from CTMH

Love blocks

My daughter is having a Valentines party in her class and wanted to make some decorations for it so we came up with these little cuties. I have had a box of these old Stampin' Up! blocks for several years so I told her to go pick some out and then I let her and her friend paint them. After they were all dried we used Lyrical Letters (the jumbo font) for the letters and the Art Philosophy cartridge for the hearts. Then I used Mod Podge to adhere the paper to the blocks.

Love to Love You

I love these colors together! This one uses some DCWV cardstock and the LOVE paper is from Rob and Bob... a long long time ago ;) I used the Mad About You stamp set from CTMH and my cricut with the Art Philosophy cartridge for the shapes. I also used another animal print embossing folder on this one and then sanded it slightly for the pattern to show up better. There is liquid glass over the heart shape and some twine from the Twinery around the base. On one card, I stamped the heart with white daisy ink and heat embossed with clear powder. The other pieces I stamped with Chocolate ink.

PTI's 5th anniversery challenge

I know 2 posts in one day, this is unheard of! I wanted badly to participate in Papertrey Ink's 5th anniversary challenge and it had to be done today. I decided to go with Dawn McVey's color combo choice because I don't have a lot of Papertrey Ink products and this one was the only one I had all the right colors for, not that it matters because she is one of my favs anyways... maybe I'll get lucky and win the big prize! I also used the Paper Tray stamp set. You can find all the details at the Papertrey Ink blog HERE

More Valentine Love

For these I used the Art Philosophy cartridge and the stamp of the month for December which was called Mad About You. I stamped with Chocolate ink on this one and added a few sparkles and some twine from the Twinery.
This card I stamped with white and then heat embossed with clear on the tag and heart.

Elephant valentine cards

Hello Everyone, here are some more Valentine cards I made. For these I used the cute elephant from Holiday Cakes cartridge and cut it at 3-1/2. I used the cute sentiments from Tag The Occasion and stamped with black ink just inside the heart followed by some clear embossing powder and heat set it. I used my gypsy to cut the elephant so I could hide the eye because I wanted to add a cute googly eye. I embossed the pink part with one of my animal print embossing folders and the cuttlebug. After that I added some Trendy Twine and stuck him on the card base with some pop dots. Thanks for stopping by today :) I'm entering this in the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge for this week

Be Mine and I Love You valentine cards

Here are a couple of quick Valentine's Day cards I made. A friend of mine sent me a picture of one that she made and the design was just so simple and cute I had to re-create it :) I used Doodlecharms for the hearts cutting them at 1-1/2 with the scallop heart as well. I stamped the "Be Mine" and "I Love You" from the "Tag The Occasion" set. I also used some candy candy ink and a sponge to go around the white hearts and the tags a little bit. The tag with "Happy Valentine's Day" is from the Art Philosophy cartridge and is cut at 1-1/4, that stamp is from the December stamp of the month set called Mad About You. I also used some Trendy Twine you can find it HERE. The paper is from Die Cuts With A View :)
