My Hero, Honor, USA, Freedom cards

The brother of a friend of mine just went into the service and she asked me if I could make some cards for her to send to him when she sends a package... this is what I came up with and I am really loving the options with this cartridge, I didn't write down the different sizes of the cuts like I should have, I was just trying to crank out as many as I could so if one size didn't work I adjusted it and cut again but still used the other cuts as well. I did have a hard time getting the Honor to cut, it was being such a pain! I used the note card feature a lot on these and then used the cut outs for the other cards, mixing and matching as I went. These ones are the tags, tank and gun note cards with the helmet pieces from the opposite note cards stuck on there, am I making sense? These are the tank, helmet and dog tag note card feature with the tank and gun cutouts stuck on.
Sorry I have been slacking lately, my kids got out of school today and with the end of the year stuff going on I haven't been able to create much. Also I am leaving to go visit my mom and dad tomorrow for a week so I will be gone. I didn't get anything done either to have auto-posted so hopefully you'll stick around with me and I will see ya when I get back :)

Special Card for my sister

I made this card last week for my sister's special day, I didn't think it needed a sentiment, she would understand exactly what I was going for when she saw it. I used Paperdoll DressUp and cut the girl, her dress and hair all out at 5 inches. I used a Peachy Keen stamp for the face PK-560, I used swiss dots to emboss the background and then I rubbed some CTMH amethyst ink over the raised area. I also took a gold pen and made a band and then added a jewel for her diamond, she really liked it, I think!

Graduation Girls

I made these for the fair on Friday night, I am so glad I did because they all sold! I cut the girl out at 4-1/2 from Everyday Paper Dolls and then all the accessories as well. I think the brown short hair is from Paper Doll Dress Up. I used Peachy Keen face stamps PK-560 for these girls and then used my white gel pen for the spots in the eyes, I also outlined all the clothing lines and on the cap and scroll with the white gel pen. I added a border punch from EK Success down the side and inked with grey wool from CTMH. Stamp is CTMH as well. Thanks for stopping by.

My New Watch- Time For Beads

So If you all haven't noticed I have a new badge on my sidebar. About a month ago I entered in a drawing from My Giveaway Today for a $50 gift certificate for Time For Beads and I ended up wining. She has some really great things in her Etsy shop and this is what I picked out. Mine is the brown one with the rectangle watch face and then I got my sister one for her birthday coming up but the great thing about these is that you can get just 1 watch face and then change out the band to go with your outfit, she has lots to choose from and if you don't see something there for you, you can email her and she will make something for you. She also has bands with initials on them, I was going to get one with my kids but decided not to at the last minute, kinda wish I would have. I also thought that maybe when my mom's birthday rolls around I will get her one with all her grand kids initials on it, wouldn't that be fun! Anyway check it out if you get a minute she is really great to work with TIME FOR BEADS.

Happy Birthday- green/pink

Mad these for the KABAM festival I will be in this weekend, any of you town friends should come out and visit my booth. Metcalfe Park 10-4 I think. Love how these turned out, wish I would have a had a stamp that said "Bride to be" but didn't, dang! I cut her from Forever Young at 5-1/4, I used black CTMH paper, green flower and red is from My Mind's Eye and the solid green is Sonburn from Sam's Club. I also added some cream ribbon to go with the cream card and some of them have primas with a pearl from Kaiser Crafts, others have Doodlebug paper posies. The stamps are PTI, ink is versafine- black. Thanks for stopping by today!

more "Thanks" cards

These were pretty easy and I really like how they turned out. All the pink/green/stripped/dotted paper is a pack from Making Memories and the brown is chocolate from CTMH. I cut the base at 4 x 5-1/4, the marquee is from Storybook cut at 2-3/4 with the accent blackout feature on page 68, then I used Opposites Attract for the "thanks" cut at 1-1/2. I inked all the edges with chocolate ink from CTMH and added some ribbon, simple and easy!

Teacher Appreciation cards!

What can 24 sheets of double sided paper, 2 boxes of pre-made cards with envelopes, some ribbon, a little tape and some foam squares get you......?????70 cards for Teacher Appreciation week!
I was so proud of myself! I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I tested myself on limited supplies and this is what I came up with. I used Just Because Cards for the shape the "thanks" is on, then I got out Opposites Attract and cut the "thanks" at 1-1/2, I added some ribbon with my stapler and rounded the bottom corners of all the card bases and the base pattern paper, then I popped that up with a couple foam squares and VOILA they were complete! :)

Colors of the Rainbow-MPS challenge

Did this one real quick to enter the challenge before it's all over. I have had this Ric Rack for over a year and just really didn't know what to do with it. The ovals are some I had leftover from my bird cards, I used a CTMH stamp with Hydrangea ink and added a bling brad. Thanks for looking.

Getting Scrappy Challenge

Another My Pink Stamper challenge, this one was to use up some scraps so I have, the bubble is all scraps as well as the pink piece at the top. Stamps are CTHM and Papertrey Ink with CTMH chocolate ink and a EK Success border punch at the bottom.

Hey dad- MPS challenge

Made this one real quick this morning for another challenge at My Pink Stamper. This one was for dad or masculine. I ended up cutting this card by hand, inked all the edges with chocolate from CTMH, added some extra pockets and stitching and also a real "fly" for fly fishing. I also got my eyelets out that I haven't used forever and laced it up with some twine. Stamp is from Studio G.

your appreciated!

This is for another one of the My Pink Stamper challenges for National Scrapbook Day. You had to make something for someone to show appreciation, I covered this candy bar with some pattern paper and added a thanks stamp and Hydrangea ink from CTMH, then I punched some flowers and added some skittles to the centers :)

"Mom" card using Mother's Day Seasonal Cartridge

Made this for the My Pink Stamper Challenge you had to create a card with your mom in mind so here's mine. I welded the flower from George together with my Gypsy to make the card base its about 5 inches cut on Twilight paper from CTMH. Then I took the intricate flower from Mather's Day Seasonal and set it inside my flower so it would fit nicely, it wasn't exact but it was as good as I could get it, I cut that on some pretty purple shimmer paper. The mom is also from the Mother's Day seasonal cart, I cut it at 2 inches, added a yellow shadow and some pearls from Kaiser Craft. I pierced around the flower and added some stretchy ribbon on the back of the entire card.
