Reindeer snowflake card

I love this snowflake cut from When Its Cold Outside. I'm not sure that I have cut many others from that cartridge because I always go directly to that one! I cut this at 3-3/4 inches, added some red stickles to the noses, I also went over the top with Desert Sand ink to make the details show up better. I added some adhesive jewels to the tips of the snowflake and some silver stickles to the star in the middle. Stamp is from Close To My Heart
I'm entering this in the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge

Christmas card with tag day 2

This is the other cards I made with the same idea as yesterday's post. I used some dark blue bazzill card stock and some dark red from provocraft. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the border and added 3 white brads. The sentiment is from Holiday Cheer and the cutout is from the Art Philosophy cartridge

Christmas card with tag

Hello Everyone, I hope you guys all had a great Thanksgiving and now that its over I thought I would share some of the Christmas cards I have been making. These were originally going to be tags but I decided I didn't want to mess with that for the craft fair and already had the tags cut so I finished them up and then added them to a card. I used some lime green paper and the cuttlebug with the snowflakes plate to emboss and then sand a little to let more white show through. I also inked the edges of the white card with some Cranberry from CTMH and finished it off with the stamp from Holiday Cheer and cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge bundle. There is also some Twine and I added a little Bitty Sparkle on the star under the saying.

Go Wild! favors

Here are the cupcake wrappers we cut. These are from the Cupcake Wrapper cartridge cut at 2 inches. They also covered candy bars with the same paper and came up with lots of other super cute ideas to go along with the theme.

Go WILD!

I made these cards last month for a church activity. A friend of mine serves in the Young Women's program and they were having their annual Young Women In Excellence. The theme was "We Seek After These Things" and they did all sorts of seeking in the jungle. I thought the cards turned out fun for the young girls and ledft a spot for her to add a message if she wanted. Stay tuned tomorrow for some cupcake wrappers I cut and some extra pictures of the evening of the other fun stuff they made up :)
I cut my monkeys, vines and zebras from Create A Critter at 2-1/2 inches and the grass was cut at 5.30 from Paper Doll Dress-Up on my Gypsy to fit the card base

this is it... last of the fence cards

This is the last set of fence cards I made. I used the DCWV Linen Closet stack, CTMH's Say It In Style and My Pink Stamper stamps. I also used the flutter paper shapes and inked the edges with Desert Sand. I finished it off with some twine from The Twinery.
I thought I had these done but then I decided to ink the edges to make the butterflies stand out more.

Round 3 with the fences...

YES, I did get a little carried away... ok A LOT carried away with my fence making but they were just so fun and so I filled a whole page on my cricut and cut! ;) These top ones I used the Street Lace stack again and MPS stamps.
These cards used the Latte stack from DCWV, MPS stamps and CTMH's Say It In Style set.
I ended up adding some prima flowers to these and those clear dots everyone called "skittles" a few years back.

Have the Happiest Birthday!

Here are some more cards with the fence I showed you yesterday. I realized that the My Pink Stamper stamp fit nicely across the fence so I used them too as well as the Say It In Style set from Close To My Heart. More Die Cuts With A View papers this time from the Street Lace stack. I thought I was finished with the top cards but they needed something extra so I got out the Home Decor cartridge and cut some cute butterflies at 1-1/4 inches to go on the from of these and then added some rhinestones in various places. I finished it up with some twine from The Twinery.

would you like a fence with that? :)

These were inspired by a friend of mine who sent me a picture of some cards she was working on, when I asked her how she did the fence she said it was a border punch... sad for me I don't have any stores to go look for anything crafty so I got to thinking and remembered that there was a fence on the PaperDoll Dress-Up cartridge... happy me! I cut it to fit my card on the Gypsy and then used the Say It In Style set from CTMH for the sentiments. I also picked some cute papers form the DCWV Linen closet stack and added a purple ribbon for an accent. When I was done with that I decided it was a little too plain so I went through my stuff and found these awesome paper butterflies from Close To My Heart  and inked them up a bit with Desert Sand :) Thanks for stopping by today!

CTMH cards using Lucky and Dream Big stamp set

I decided to dive into my Lucky kit the other day, I really wanted to use the Dream Big stamp set and create a card with a tic tac toe grid. First I cut a square from Mini Monograms at 3 inches. I then used a black super fine sharpie to make the grid and then started stamping with desert sand and Outdoor Denim ink. I added a cute brown button and some hemp and put it together on an orange scallop square cut at 3-1/4... I wanted a little more orange showing then just the regular so that's why its a bit bigger. Then using some of the pattern Lucky papers I cut them to fit for the background and added my grid on top with foam tape. The lighter brown images are from 2nd generation stamping. To learn more about that click HERE.
This one I used the frog and Olive ink

Pumpkin trio round 2

I made 9 more sets of these for the craft fair. I used the leaf from Stretch You Imagination and cut them at 1-1/4 and 1-1/2 and the give thanks is from Designer's Calendar cut at 1-1/2? (not sure) from brown vinyl.
Here is a cream set I made with orange ribbon
and another cream set with green ribbon

skeleton party invites

I finally got to use my cricut markers I have had FOREVER! Someone asked if I had a skeleton cut since her son was having a party and wanted a skeleton on the card... of course I do! I had first cut these out without the markers and then I went back with a black marker and traced all the lines... that took a while and she wanted 20 so I got my brain a thinking and remembered that I had those markers and would it work? YES it worked great. I got my gypsy and layed the whole thing out on that cutting them at 4. If you haven't used these markers they are really cool, you place it in where your blade goes and instead of cutting it draws the lines :) happy me!
Then once that was done I returned to the design and using the hide contour button I hid everything except the eyes, nose and outside line then i replaced my marker back with the blade and hit cut... AWESOME!
When I dropped them off I told her I thought it would be cute to use some googly eyes on them so this is what she came up with... thanks for letting me help with these :)

A&C thank you cards

As well as the wedding announcements I posted about yesterday I also made this happy couple about 150 thank you cards with the same shimmer paper. I used Elegant Edges and my Gypsy to create this border, the white paper is all one piece cut at 3.14 W x 4 H and the blue was cut at 2.75 W x 3.50 H the outside border was cut from the next card design below...
I figured since the border was being cut I might as well use both parts because I had originally planned to only use the part on the 2nd card.
Here they all are, getting ready to be delivered.

wedding invites for A&C

I think these turned out beautiful. I used some light blue and white shimmer paper and some navy blue ribbon to tie the whole thing together. The information was printed on the blue piece.

"J" wreath

A few weeks ago I had a friend ask me to make this "J" to go on a wreath she had made. She decided on Lyrical Letters Capital for the font. I cut it at 5.90 H x 5.75 W with my Gypsy. I cut it from 2 colors and then she of-set them.
