Another teacher gift ~ Valentine Box

Have I ever told you how much I LOVE papercrafting?
I find all sorts of fun projects and then I just cant stand it, waiting for a time when I can sit down and get to work. I found this fun tutorial on Inking Idaho's blog and decided that it would make a great teacher gift so I got started. Here is the completed box, I had Kyle ask his teacher what her favorite candy was and he said Reese's cups so I made sure to include some of those.View with the lid on, I tied some pink ribbon around the outside to keep it closed (not in the picture)Everything out of the box Fun and easy cards to go inside, the "thanks" is popped upI love this card, one of my all time favorites :-)
Another view so you can see the "4", "flower", and "U" popped out. This was fun to do for the peppermint patties, I cut a 2" scalloped circle from Mini Monograms with my pattern paper and shadowed it with brown. Then I cut a 1" flower from the same cartridge, then I added a yellow brad and then with double stick tape, stuck it to the patty.
Instructions for this cute box are included on the tutorial found HERE.

Tropical Milk Carton

I love making these cute things, the possibility is endless! Here is one for an end of the year teacher gift. You can buy the tutorial HERE.
I put shells at the top for a fun addition and inked them with brown ink. I put pop dots on the chair and the crab and also added some googly eyes.

One more Stationary Set... Blue/Brown/Yellow

I know, your sick of seeing these LOL. I love them though so here is another stationary set. I think I will be making lots of these in the future for teacher gifts and birthdays and whatever else I can think of.
Here it is put together... the inside, these little sets come with 4 cards, 4 envelopes, a matching pen and notebook... here is a good shot of the "slider" part of the card, this doesn't actually open up you just slide the 1 piece out and that's where you write your message here it is back down in, slightly crooked whoops :)

Stationary Set Green/Yellow

This one I made green and yellow with some purple cards. I cut the scallop on the pockets from Plantin Schoolbook and the oval on the cards is from Bags, Tags. You can find comlpete directions HERE. This is how I did the inside, it was easier for my spiral notebook to slide in and out, just slide the back cardboard down between the green paper here.

Stationary Set Pink/Brown

Another fun stationary set, directions found at Inking Idaho Cards for the pockets envelopes on the inside and a cute pen and notepad that you can remove for easy use
notice the pattern paper inside the barrel of the pen?! :)

Chirper Challenge

Here is a card I made for a tryout submission for the Chirper Challenge, you have to make a card/layout/or altered item with the theme of sunshine using this sketch.
This is what I came up with...Whenever I think of sunshine I think about being in Hawaii and dream about playing on the beach :) I cut the dark blue waves from "Plantin Schoolbook" the girl is from "Paper Doll Dress-up" and the flip flops are from "Life is a Beach"This is a side view so you can see what I popped up :)

Welcome card

I made a couple of these cute cards a week ago, we have had 2 families move in our neighborhood in just that last month :) We also made some cinnamon rolls to take with the cards!
