Cherries and Cupcakes

I made a few of these the other night, the cupcakes are 3 1/4 cut from Hello Kitty cartridge. These fit perfectly inside the 3x3 clear envelopes from clearbags.com. We used some pretty shimmer paper for the cupcake paper and the cherry on top. These little ones are exactly 3x3 cut again from Hello Kitty. The red has a bit of a sparkle to it. These will also fit inside the 3x3 clear envelopes. These are the same cherry cards just different lighting.

great color combo helper

OK I stumbled upon this fun and very helpful site a few months back and keep forgetting to share it with you all, it is an interactive list of all the Stampin' Up colors so you pick a color you want to use then it will give you some options to go with that color. Don't worry if you don't have Stampin' Up cardstock, just pick the closest color to what you do have and make something fun. Here is the link go check it out...

Chirper Challenge #21 and the envelope please...

Our CHIRPER CHALLENGE this round was to not only make a card or layout but it had to include the envelope. It also had to be fall-ish. I chose to make a card from the Wild Card cartridge and make a matching envelope. I used the pumpkin feature at 3 and 3/4 inches. I cut the card from Making Memories double dipped paper 2 times so I could get an orange pumpkin for the outside of my envelope. I also cut a web and "Boo" from Wild Card and added a little bit of stickles to my web just for fun.

Cute Cherry Purse Card Holder

I saw this super cute idea from FUNKY PHRESH and of course HAD to try it out, another fun project. I heat embossed my own cherries on the paper with versamark and clear embossing powder. I also used a sticky Velcro for the closure. Faux stitching with my white uniball pen. Here are the cards inside with envelopes the "you're so sweet" is from clear dollar stamps jar gon set. The cherry is from the "little fruit" set from stampendous. I also used my new border punch from Martha Stewart. I cut the circle and scalloped circle from Mini Mongrams with my CRICUT.Heat embossed the cherries again with clear powder, I love that shine! Used another sticky Velcro on both sides to close flaps.I had a scrap of cherry paper from the DCWV sweet stack and it fit perfectly on here so I used it.A view of the inside. And the envelopes had to have some action as well so I stamped them to match!
THANKS FOR LOOKING, feel free to leave a comment, I love reading them :)
