More Fish Bowl cards... Fishing you a great day

My cool new stamps from "Scrappy Moms Stamps" came Wednesday night. I was in the process of finishing up some more of these fun fish bowl cards (read more about the "how to" HERE) and I had actually been hoping they would come so I could use them on these. I love how they turned out and there are lots of other fun sayings to go along with any critter cuts you might have, if you get a minute you should check them out.. or check out this post here! I also used a basic Happy Birthday stamp from CTMH.

Happy Birthday... Dino-mite!

These were fun to make, I really wanted to use the My Pink Stamper stamps I got so I made 6 of these. The dinosaur and the volcano are both cut at 2-1/2 inches I inked the edges of the orange part on the top.

I did it... or I should say ALL of YOU did it!

I hit 100 followers today... be on the lookout for a fun blog candy coming up :) THANKS to everyone, it means a lot to me that you enjoy what I do as much as I do :)

Fish Bowl card- Happy Birthday

Made this fun card up yesterday, hopefully I get it in on time for Canadian Nickel Scrap'n. You had to incorporate a summer theme and this is what I feel like every summer... a fish. We do a lot of swimming here! The fish bowl is 5-1/2 x 4-25 I welded the shadow together 1st with my Gypsy then cut everything else to fit inside. The fish is cut at 1-1/4, stamp is from CTMH. I used my Cuttlebug on the water and the sand and then used my platinum colored ink pad to go over the water to make it shimmer. I also used some brown chalk to go over the sand, a light blue around the edge of the bowl and green around the fish.

Fun Fold Card using Mini Monograms

I found this idea at Inking Idaho's blog back in January and really loved the idea of it so I printed it off and put it in my "To Do" pile... well I was going through papers the other day and found it so I decided to give it a try...

Dad, you're T-rrific!

This was a special request card. A friend came over the other day to look through my cards and asked if I had any Fathers Day ones, since I didn't I asked what her husband liked to do and she said GOLF! I got straight to work and this is what I came up with... I used my Gypsy to weld the golf ball and the T together from Everyday Paperdolls, I don't know exact sizes on this I was just going for a standard A2 envelope size so It is approximately 5-1/2 but its NOT 4-1/4, it wouldn't stay in proportion. I also used a cuttlebug folder and de-bossed it so the indention's went down, then I added some Provocraft stickers to spell out the saying and was finished. I am entering this is the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge for this week.

Throwback Thursday with My Creative Time-Stretch Your Imagination

Well here we go another throwback Thursday with Emma over at My Creative Time. This weeks challenge was to use SYI cartridge and the colors blue/brown/red. I went with the flower card found on page 65. I layed everything out on my Gypsy and then using the hide contour button I hid the areas I didn't need cut. Then I put the paper in the corresponding area and cut it all out. I also used the layers button and I should point out that I cut the card at 5 inches but when using layers for the flower you have to down size, if I would have cut the layers at 5 inches like the card they would have been WAY TOO BIG! I also used the scallop boarder from page 81 and then using my 1/16 hole punch I went around the edge. I used my Cuttlebug and the swirls folder for the flower, a Making Memories yellow glitter brad, some silver 22 gauge wire for the curtain rod, and the trusty old technique of accordion folding for the curtain! Hope you like! :)

How's Everything On Your End?

I finally got these put together the other day, I have had the horse and saying stamped for about 5 months (from Clear Dollar Stamps) and just never was able to get them done! I really think they turned out pretty cute and that stripped paper from DCWV All Boy Stack went perfectly with the cowboy theme. I colored in the image with my water brush and stamp pads. Thanks for stopping by today.
