Monster Party Day 4 - banner

Alright everyone, here is the final project for the monster birthday bash. This banner of monsters were cut from Mini Monsters at 4 inches each. I used the shadow feature as well as the regular feature. The letters are from Cuttin up "holy cow" and are 2-1/2. I used twine fro The Twinery to string it together and added some googly eyes to a couple of the monsters :)
Thanks for hanging out with me this week, I hope you enjoyed my monster themed party!

Monster Party Day 3- tags

These tags were used as a thank you for coming to the party. They were tied to some gumball tubes and passed out at the end of the party along with the treat bags. These were also cut from Mini Monsters at 3. The circle was cut from George at 1-1/2 and then I stamped using a CTMH set and green ink
Be sure to stop back tomorrow for the banner :)

Monster Party Day 1- invite

I had a special request for a monster themed party so this whole week I will show you what I made for this fun birthday. First I started off with the invite, these monsters were cut from Mini Monsters at 3 inches each. We did 4 of them because the birthday boy was turning 4 :) I added the googly eyes for some movement and added interest. I think they turned out super cute. Be sure to check back tomorrow for day 2 which will be the treat boxes... have a great day!

Candy Bar Banner- for a Wedding

Back in January I had made this other banner and never posted it. This was actually for a wedding and it turned out great, I need to get a picture of the banner strung and hung up. I used some fuzzy paper for the pennants (I cut by hand) I used Cuttin' Up for the letters cut at 3-1/2 and Mini Monsters for the candy pieces cut at 3-1/2 and the sucker cut at 4. I added some pearls and ribbon to the letters and some glitter to the sucker and candies.
Here is a shot of the glitter.
 Close up of the letters.
I took this one so you could see the colors a bit better with the black background.
Thanks for stopping by today, have a great one.

Fantabulous Cricut #43- Sweet Shop

Hello Everyone, for this weeks challenge at FCCB it is a "Sweet Shop" theme so you can make a project using candy. Someone recently asked me to make a banner for her, her sister is getting married and she is throwing the shower with these colors and wanted candy on it so this fit perfectly for this challenge. I cut the red part or pennants of my banner by hand. First I measured the length (5-1/2) and then found the center then I went up about 1-1/2 inches and made a mark, then connected that mark to both corners and cut out the triangle. For the fan folds I took my 12x12 paper and scored it at every 1/4 inch mark on the Martha Stewart score board, then I cut 2 inch strips of paper (2x12) then I fan folded them. After that was done I glued 2 pieces together (now I have a 2x24 piece) and then glued those ends together to form a circle. I used hot glue to adheare the fan folds to the pennants. I used Cuttin up to cut the letters at 3-1/2 and then Mini Monsters for the candy cut at 3-1/2 and sucker cut at 4 inches. I used stickles on them also but you cant really see it. I used some matching brads I had and red polka dot ribbon for the letters. I didnt put it together because it has to travel and she thought it would be better if she waited to get there to assemble it.
The Stickles are on the white areas, I was trying to get a better picture but I don't think you can really see them on here.
Thanks for stopping by, make sure you check out the other design team projects and give this a shot for some great prizes on the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog as well.

This is what the banner looked like at the party with all the fun matching candy below it, she threaded it together with some fun tulle! :)

Crazy Colored Creatures - part 2

Here we go with part 2- again all monsters were cut from Wild Card at 6-1/2, the door is from Mini Monsters cut at 27. I know this might seem crazy big but in comparison to the monsters on this cartridge it would cut so it fit them. This will fit on a 12x12 mat.
The cityscape is from Plantin Schoolbook cut at 3-1/4. I actually cut it so it's just barely behind Round Brown on both sides. I didn't want it to show up behind his eyes.
