Trick or Treat bag

My sons 3rd grade teacher is having a trick or treat bag decorating contest this year. She gave all the kids a bag and had them decorate it with whatever they wanted over the weekend and today there will be judging  on them to see who's bag won. My kid decided he wanted a mummy on his with a pumpkin and the trick or treat bag! He picked the colors and I cut the pieces then he stuck them on. The mummy is 6-1/2 as well as the trick or treat bag and the pumpkin is 5 all from Paper Doll DressUp. I added some ink to make it look more real and he decided on 2 different sized eyes to finish it off!
This is what he decided on for the back of the bag :)
I'm entering this in the Cardz TV challenge, I know it's not a card!

Happy Halloween -easy cards

I love all the fall paper, especially the Die Cuts With A View stacks, i just cant get enough of them.. although I should since I am running out of room to store them... anyway a friend of mine needed some Halloween cards for her nieces and nephews so I got busy. I only had about 2 hours so it had to be easy and since I loved using this candy corn and jar stamp set from Clear Dollar Stamps so much I decided I would go with it again. After stamping and coloring in the image I backed it with some black cardstock. I used last years  Halloween stack of paper from DCWV and some twine from The Twinery. my cute stamp is from My Pink Stamper, hope you enjoy!

Pumpkin Trio- wood project

Saw these cute pumpkins here and HAD to make some of my own that way I wouldn't have to have them shipped. I just used a 4x4 and a 2x2 and a dowel. I cut the 4x4 to the sizes I wanted, I think mine are 5-1/2, 7 and 8. Then I cut my 2x2 into 2 inch pieces and had the hubby help me cut the dowels and drill holes so we could glue the stem on top. I have seen these with real sticks glues to the tops as well and think it would be cute I just didn't think of it before I did mine. I gave them 2 coats of pumpkin orange and the stem got 2 coats of brown oxide. I sanded all the edges and added some ribbon to the top.
This is what the other sides look like, this vinyl was actually from somewhere else, I didn't cut it.
I did however, cut these pumpkin faces from the Pumpkin Carvings cartridge sized on my gypsy to fit perfectly on my blocks! So I now have a Halloween/Thanksgiving craft and I can turn them for the appropriate season or I can just have them all facing out plain orange :) Truly a craft for the fall!

Too cute too spook!

I needed to get some Halloween cards done and what better way with this cute cut from the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge and the new line of paper called Mischief from Close To My Heart! I just love hello kitty  in her cute black cat costume and My Pink Stamper has the best stamps that go along with it perfectly or should I say purrrfectly... lol! I cut her out at 3 inches, I used some stickles on her paws and nose, I added a little purple bow and some twine around that, I used my drippy goo punch and added a couple borders and some more twine around the base of the card which is the Mischief paper pack from Close To My Heart.
I'm entering this in the BBTB2 challenge for this week.

Easy Canvas Prints review

A few weeks back I was giving the opportunity to do a review for the Easy Canvas Prints people. I have to say these are really cool, look great and are affordable. I ordered the 11x14 size but there are plenty of other sizes too. I think it turned out great and because I had just went on a trip to the beach I decided I would get this picture of the sunset that my sister had taken to go in my beach themed bathroom. You should check them out, the Easy Canvas Prints people will turn your photos to canvas in no time! If you are looking for a great Christmas gift look no further.
