You're A Peach!

I made these up for fun, I cant believe I have had this cartridge for over a year and never used it :( The peaches were cut from Preserves @ 3 inches, then I used my Gypsy to size the tag just right to fit the sentiment I wanted to use. Stamps are My Pink Stamper. Paper is from DCWV and I added some twine from The Twinery. I also used some Peachy Keen stamps and added a little "happy lashes" face! Thanks for looking.
These have "You're very sweet!" stamped also from My Pink Stamper Stamps.

Owl Card Assortment

I made these up a few weeks ago. I used Create A Critter and cut the Owl @ 2-3/4 then cut the branch a bit smaller @ 2-1/4. I used some CTMH stamps and Studio G on a few, also used a border punch at the bottom.

Candy Bar Banner- for a Wedding

Back in January I had made this other banner and never posted it. This was actually for a wedding and it turned out great, I need to get a picture of the banner strung and hung up. I used some fuzzy paper for the pennants (I cut by hand) I used Cuttin' Up for the letters cut at 3-1/2 and Mini Monsters for the candy pieces cut at 3-1/2 and the sucker cut at 4. I added some pearls and ribbon to the letters and some glitter to the sucker and candies.
Here is a shot of the glitter.
 Close up of the letters.
I took this one so you could see the colors a bit better with the black background.
Thanks for stopping by today, have a great one.

Art card for Art Teacher

My son wanted to give a card to his art teacher back in February and after a few minutes of asking him if he could wait until the next day to make it, he informed me that he only sees her once every month and the next day happen to be that day! I cant believe how many things have been cut from school these days, I remember as a kid having art every week, now they are lucky if they get it once a month. I don't know what I would do if I could only be creative ONE TIME A MONTH... I think I would go CRAZY!!! Anyway enough about that, I pulled out Locker Talk and we cut all the "paint" stuff out. I'm sorry but I cant remember the size :( He had fun gluing the pieces on the card and then he wrote his "thank-you" to her inside! :)

Pink and Flowery Purse Card Holder

Another Purse Card Holder for a gift. She loved the pink one I made a few weeks ago so I did another one similar to it. Paper is from Prima and DCWV. Twine is from The Twinery :)
Butterfly was cut at 1-3/4 inches from Serenade, stamps are all CTMH.
I crocheted some twine into a flower for the closure on this one, it was a little bit difficult but it worked and I LOVE it! I found the directions for the flowers here.
Thanks for stopping by :) I'm entering this in the FCCB challenge this week to create a birthday card or project :)

My niece's birthday cake.

My niece celebrated her 14th birthday in February and we are lucky enough to live close so we went over for the weekend. I used Duff Stuff fondant found at Micheal's (make sure you use a 50% off coupon if you have one) but this stuff works like "butta" in the cricut cake machine... I swear it cut super good with nice clean edges, I will never use marshmallow fondant again! Anyway the bird was cut at 4 inches from the Birthday Cakes cartridge and the hearts are various sizes, 2 or 2-1/2. I think the balloons were cut at 3.
We (my sister, her husband, my husband and I) thought we would get super creative and tried to steam the top like the "Cake Boss" does to make everything look shiny, we didn't want to hold it on there too long and ruin the whole thing so it ended up only working in certain areas.
Turned out pretty good, what do you think?

St. Patty's Wreath

A week or so ago I saw this super cute wreath made by Jen at Craft-O-Maniac. I was totally drawn in by her adding in the brown with some different shades of green on her cute wreath. This is what I came up with it's similar but not exact, I don't live near a great craft store so I had to do with what I could find and what I could cut out on my Cricut. I found the fabric and the ribbon at wally world, the wreath was a recycle from something my daughter made but didn't want anymore and the paper for the shamrocks and horseshoes was from my stash. I cut strips of fabric and wrapped the wreath, then I cut my shamrocks out at 4, 3, and 2-1/2 on some chipboard and on my pattern paper. For the horse shoes I cut them out at 2 and 2-1/2, I also cut chipboard out to make them more sturdy. I used my cuttlebug and embossed the circles into the brown paper then sanded the circles. I inked the edges of all the shamrocks and added some twine to one of them and a button with twine tied through to the other. I think it turned out really cute and just an FYI the ribbon I used to hang the wreath is actually a lot lighter then in the picture.

Bird on a Branch set of cards.

These were some super quick and easy cards I made, I tend to make them in sets that way I dont have a lot of scraps leftover and it helps build my stash quicker or in my case it helps me build my "ready to sell" pile fast! For these I cut out the bird on a branch from Songbird at 3 inches. After my card was all put together I went around the bird piece with some glue and then added some course glitter and a little bow with some twine from The Twinery :) Sentiments are from Papertrey Ink "Asian Fusion" set. I also added a little jewel for the eye.
I am entering this in the My Pink Stamper Challenge for using a "feathered friend". Also don't forget to check out Weekly Giveaway for your chance to sin some Cute Cards By Jamie :)
