Fantabulous Cricut #45- Support The Cause

This week's challenge at FCCB is to make a project in honor of a cause near and dear to your heart (i.e. breast cancer awareness, autism, MADD, etc). I decided to go with supporting our troops. I use to have a magnetic bumper sticker on my truck but it got old and sun faded so we threw it away and I  had been meaning to do something with vinyl but never got around to it so this was the perfect chance to make my own vinyl sticker for my truck to support all those people that serve our country so that we may enjoy the freedoms we have... THANK YOU!!!
I used black vinyl, my Stand And Salute cartridge and cut this out at 3-1/4. I wish I had camo vinyl but I dont think they make it and I didnt have any yellow either or I would have probably used that, anyway I love how it turned out. Be sure to enter this weeks challenge at the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog for some really great prizes and while your here enter my giveaway for a 55 dollar gift code to CSNStores, just leave a comment on THIS post!

Merry Christmas from the pup :)

My neighbor needed a card to give her dog groomer so I made this up really quick. I used Create A Critter and cut the doggy at 2-3/4 inches then used a scrap of DCWV paper I had leftover from the Winter Wonder stack. I used my border punch for the loops and a My Pink Stamper sentiment. I also added some Stickles to the yellow part on his hat. Thanks for stopping in today!

Circles, Circles and more Circles!

I hope you guys aren't getting sick of all my Die Cuts With a View cards, I love their papers so much and could probably circle the globe a few times with the stacks of papers I have... to go along with the circle theme of this paper I used George and cut out circles in different colors at 1/2, 3/4, and 1-1/4, I stamped my sentiment from Close To My Heart on the smallest white circle and then stacked them up for a fun look to match.

Assorted Cards in a cute Purse!

I made one of these before with a cherry theme, you can find that post HERE. Someone asked for this to give her mom for Christmas, she wanted some neutral colors so if she sent the cards to males then it would be ok and not too girlie :) this paper is from My Minds Eye. I basically just cut the pattern paper into different size squares and rectangles and started putting them together. I punched some of the edges with the note book paper punch.

Flower Thank Yous.

What do you think about these? I thought they turned out pretty simple and cute. These would be great to give a new mom as a baby gift for all those great gifts she has received. More DCWV papers and Close To My Heart stamps :) flower was cut from Mini Monograms at 1-3/4 with a circle to fit inside :) thanks for stopping by!

Fantabulous Cricut #43- Sweet Shop

Hello Everyone, for this weeks challenge at FCCB it is a "Sweet Shop" theme so you can make a project using candy. Someone recently asked me to make a banner for her, her sister is getting married and she is throwing the shower with these colors and wanted candy on it so this fit perfectly for this challenge. I cut the red part or pennants of my banner by hand. First I measured the length (5-1/2) and then found the center then I went up about 1-1/2 inches and made a mark, then connected that mark to both corners and cut out the triangle. For the fan folds I took my 12x12 paper and scored it at every 1/4 inch mark on the Martha Stewart score board, then I cut 2 inch strips of paper (2x12) then I fan folded them. After that was done I glued 2 pieces together (now I have a 2x24 piece) and then glued those ends together to form a circle. I used hot glue to adheare the fan folds to the pennants. I used Cuttin up to cut the letters at 3-1/2 and then Mini Monsters for the candy cut at 3-1/2 and sucker cut at 4 inches. I used stickles on them also but you cant really see it. I used some matching brads I had and red polka dot ribbon for the letters. I didnt put it together because it has to travel and she thought it would be better if she waited to get there to assemble it.
The Stickles are on the white areas, I was trying to get a better picture but I don't think you can really see them on here.
Thanks for stopping by, make sure you check out the other design team projects and give this a shot for some great prizes on the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog as well.

This is what the banner looked like at the party with all the fun matching candy below it, she threaded it together with some fun tulle! :)

OK I know I say "quick and easy" a lot but....

this one REALLY is quick and easy! I found a cut pattern paper (Die Cuts With a View AGAIN) all I did on here was add a sentiment right on the card, this one happens to be from Close To My Heart and comes just like that, voila! quick and easy!!!

Another set that would make a great gift!

This is a good way to build up your stash of cards or to have sets of cards ready for gift giving... I usually pick a pattern paper and a solid cardstock and make up as many cards as I can so I have little to no scraps leftover. This uses more DCWV papers both the pattern and cardstock. The flower was cut from George at 2 inches and the inside circle was cut at 2-1/2.

Quick Happy Birthdays...

I'm on the quick and easy cards if you haven't noticed... these use more DCWV papers, CTMH stamps and Mini Monograms circles cut at 2 inches. I inked the white circle with a yellow color and then used my white gel pen for some dashes on the green.
Here are some more similar ones, I just changed the card orientation and rounded some corners. I also used a scalloped circle on here for the shadow instead of the bigger circle.
AND... don't forget about the thank you cards to match ;)

Simple cards for any Occassion

This is a great "go to" card for some quick gifts. I love using this and then just adding whatever sentiment I need at the time. This is all Die Cuts With A View papers, stamps are from Close To My Heart. You might remember some similar to this from this post HERE!

More Candy Machines :)

A friend of mine that I gave one of these too loved it so much she asked me if I would make her 7 to give to her family! These turned out a bit different as we couldn't find the same glass bowls but the ones we did find looked cute as well. I used white vinyl and Lyrical Letters for the font. You can find the original post HERE.
I think they are cute even without the top on :)

Things To Do Lists

I made these for the craft fair back in November and realized I never posted them, they were pretty easy to make I found the idea from Made By Momo. She is way creative and makes the cutest things so I copied her on this one :)
These were all made with scraps... whatever I had left I put on these :) I also made matching pens to go with the lists :) Lots of Die Cuts With A View papers. Tags were cut from Alphalicious, I used my word processor to spell out the sentiment and printed that, then cut ovals around that from Alphalicious as well.

I have no idea where I found this idea at so if anyone knows be sure to let me know so I can link it up... thanks!
ha ha I found it after about an hour of searching the internet... Today's Fabulous Finds is where this idea was found :)

Fantabulous Cricut #41- Snowy Delights

Hello Everyone, welcome to 2011 and the first challenge of the year from the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. This week's theme is Snowy Delights which means you have to have a snowflake somewhere on your project or card. I decided to make this sign since I loved my Candy Cane one found HERE so much. I cut the letters at 6.20 on my Gypsy with Cuttin' Up. The snowflakes are from Cake Basics cut at 1, 1-1/4 and 1-1/2 inches both the letters and snowflakes are cut with white vinyl. Thanks for stopping by and make sure to check out the other Fantabulous Design Team blogs found on my right side bar. Don't forget to enter into this challenge at the FCCB for some great prizes.
I used some blue paint I had for the first 2 coats and then lightly went over that with white paint. I also added some silver stretchy cord and some white shimmer ribbon for the hanger.
I am linking this up to I{heart}Naptime, Craft-O-Maniac and also The Paper Variety.
