Bright Anniversary Cards

I thought I would throw some bright fun pattern paper from DCWV behind these silhouettes. They are cut from the Sweethearts cartridge at 4-1/2 some I did with the blackout feature and some I left with the detail cuts inside. Used different border punches and the sentiment stamp is from Papertrey Ink. Thanks for stopping by, tomorrow I will have another card using this silhouette.

Mommy to be- if she doesnt know what she's having!

Ok here ya go, the last of the "Mommy to be" cards I have made. You can find the girl version HERE and the other boy version HERE. This one was a special order because the lady just heard her niece is expecting and wants to send a card to congratulate them so they don't know what they are having. Bazzill yellow cardstock, provocraft pattern paper, silhouette is from New Arrival cut at 4-1/2 inches (some of these I used the black out feature on and some of them I didn't) Martha Stewart border punch and some ribbon.
This one is a bit different then the 1st one I posted HERE so I had to show it as well :) I just used more blue cardstock.

Fantabulous Cricut #29- National Sewing Month

It's National Sewing Month over at the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. For this week we were asked to make something that incorporated sewing of some degree... actual machine, hand or faux stitching... I went with hand since I had never done it before on a project. I used Lyrical Letters to cut my "hello" out at 1-1/2 inches on green Bazzill then I used some pink DCWV paper for the butterfly and glittered that with white. The pattern paper is also DCWV from the Nana's Nursery- Baby Girl stack, I rounded 2 of the corners opposite from each other and also inked the edges of the white base with Holyhock from CTMH. I finished it off by using my paper piercer to make the holes and then stitched some DMC floss through. Thanks for stopping by make sure to check out the FCCB to enter your own project and also for a chance to win some great prizes :)

Another Rag Wreath- with the material that was leftover :)

I decided to make another wreath because I had so much material left from this project HERE. The only thing I did different was the way I tied it. Instead of a left over right type knot I folded the piece of material in half, then put the loop under the hanger and pulled both ends over the hanger and down through the loop, did you understand that? If not leave a comment letting me know and I will do a picture tutorial on it :) Don't forget there is still time to enter my giveaways... they will end Today and the winners will be announced on Wednesday. Thanks for stopping by!

Today's project was found at Craft-O-Maniac. I saw this one when I found the wreath project posted yesterday and got the stuff to make both. I couldn't find the plaques at the Dollar Tree but another store did have them for 1.12 each so I got them there. I used Lyrical Letters for the "E"s cut at 3 inches with the real dial size on, the "K" is from there too but I used a different feature for it. The spiders are cut at 2, 2.5, 3, and 3.5. You can get more directions from Craft-O-Maniacs blog HERE.
Be sure to enter my other giveaways HERE and HERE! :)
I am linking this project up at Craftaholics Anonymous!

Halloween Fabric Wreath

K everyone, here is a mini tutorial on how to make a quick Halloween or Fall wreath. I found this idea last Thursday morning from A Little Bit Of Everything's blog and was off to the store running to get some material so I could make one, I LOVE this idea and how easy and inexpensive it was, I bought 1/2 yard of 4 different materials that I liked with a total cost of about $5.47 the hanger was free from a friend, THANKS, and the ribbon was from my stash. Gotta love that! :) click on the picture to enlarge it!
I cut 1 inch strips or actually snipped then tore them down, then from there I cut the strips into about 7-1/4 inches long...
I bent my hanger straight down and was going to make a circle but liked the square so much that I left it like that :) then I just started tying like you would your shoe, I didn't even knot the material, just a simple right over left and then moved on, that's it, it took me about an hour to complete it.
Here's a picture of my ribbon, I got this last year or the year before from M's or J's.
Thanks for visiting today and don't forget to enter my giveaways you can find them HERE and HERE.
Dont forget to check back tomorrow for my last giveaway :)

Whooo's still crawling along with me? - Owl cards

So this card is for the ClearlyiStamp Challenge #17 going on right now. You had to include an Owl so I chose the one from Storybook and cut him at 3-1/4 with the fancy corner feature. I also cut a scalloped cirlce from Mini Monograms at 1-3/4 and then I used an EK Success punch for the white circle. The stamps are from Clear Dollar Stamps called "Baked For You Tags." I also added some googly eyes amd a Martha Stewart border punch at the bottom. All the paper is from BoBunny's Abby Road collection... it's double sided :)
On this card I cut a tag from Stamped at 1-3/4 and added a saying from Papertrey Ink called "Wise Owl"

For today's prize I am offering up the Basketball solutions cartridge. All you have to do is leave a comment for your 1st chance and if you want a 2nd chance become a follower and leave another seperate comment.  Pretty easy, also make sure you check out Monday's giveaway HERE.

Still Crawling... birthday cupcakes with a surprise!

My mother in law has got to be one of my biggest fans, every year she asks me to make nearly 200 cards fro all her nieces and nephews and well... EVERYONE! This is what I came up with for her to send to her kids and grand kids.. cupcakes! Not just any cupcakes but cupcakes with a fun little pocket to hold some $$, this would make any kid or adult smile :) I used the Sweet Treats cartridge and cut the cupcakes out at 4 inches on some CTMH Chocolate cardstock then I cut the cupcake wrapper out on DCWV paper. I only adhered the sides and bottom of the wrapper. Then I used a white gel pen to highlight the cherry on top. The stamp is from CTMH as well. Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to check back tomorrow... there will be a giveaway :)

Hello Everyone and welcome to Cute Cards and Crafts By Jamie! and the FCCB "Back to School" Crawl. Thank you for stopping by on this fun blog hop. You should be joining me from JOYCE, AKA "Passion For Paper" if you just popped on my blog and want to play along you should start at the beginning which is the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog HERE.

In honor of Back To School time, we're calling our second Fantabulous Cricut Crawl "Button Up For School"...

Each  DT member will feature an original project that has to include a button AND a Cricut cut somewhere on their project. Make sure to check out each member's blog for some awesome inspiration! There will be prizes along the way at our DT members' blogs, AND there will be a grand prize up for grabs at FCCB for one participant that submits a project meeting the the "Button Up For School" challenge criteria!
How fun is that?

So here is my project...  I found this cute printable saying from HERE and down loaded it, I printed one sheet which gave me 4 and that's exactly what I needed :) Then I had my kids sign their names and got busy putting them together. I used Doodlecharms for the apple and bus adding buttons to the wheels. I also used my EK Success punch to make it look like it was from a notebook and found some fun school themed paper out of a Die Cuts With a View stack.
I added a few other things to my bags before I tied them up like a Reese's cup and some Hershey's kisses and then of course my cute calculator I found at the store for $1.00. I also punched a whole and used an eyelet to thread my hemp through and tie on my tag.

I am offering some blog candy today... For today's prize Scrappy Mom's Stamps has graciously donated a set of their totally awesome stamp sets, the one you can win is called "The Charmed Life." They have 5 other great stamp sets available right now too, you can see them all HERE. Thank you so much to Scrappy Mom's Stamps for sponsoring me! OK, so you have 2 chances to win... If you leave a comment that's one and if you decide to follow me and leave a separate comment that will be two! Easy enough huh?! ;)

Now it's your turn to see if you can incorporate a button on your own "Button Up For School" project. Make sure to include a Cricut cut somewhere on your project!

Sweet Baby Girl- shower invites

I made up a bunch of these a week ago for a friend that is hosting a baby shower. I cut the horse and horse shoe at 2-3/4 and the star at 1-1/2. The stamps are all individual words from CTMH. I used a Martha Stewart border punch on the green "grass" paper and then tied some crochet thread around the bottom. I used CTMH chocolate ink to stamp with and bamboo on the edges.

Ladybug - feel better, just because, hello, miss you

I made some of these about a year ago and had lots of compliments so I decided it was time to make some more. You get 2 of the same die cuts and cut certain areas out, then you adhere that part on top of the other die cut with pop dots to make your own 3-D sticker. The frames were also included with the die cuts. I added some ribbon on a few of them and all different sentiments from Papertrey Ink and CTMH. Thanks for stopping by :)

Special Wedding Card- Together Forever

I was contacted by someone who needed a wedding card for a family member. Her niece is getting married in the fall and she wanted a certain saying on it so she asked me if I could help her out... of COURSE! I used the Wedding Solutions cartridge and cut the silhouette at 4-1/2, then I added some Kaiser Pearls to her head and waist. She is adhered with pop dots but I just used Tombo on him so the bride is the star :) The tree is from Stretch Your Imagination cut at 5-1/2. The card measures 5.75 x 5.75, the red and yellow are both Bazzill cardstock. The ribbon is Offray and matched perfectly! Stamps are My Pink Stamper.
This is the saying she wanted on it, I really wanted to get this on the outside but it just wasn't working so I decided to mat it with Yam and add some more pearls and put it inside.

Hi Everyone this weeks challenge at Fantabulous Cricut was to create something with the Labor Day theme, this could include work or a job, congrats on promotion, retirement etc... all I could think of was Labor though... might be because I have been through it 5 times! Anyway I cut this from New Arrival at 4 inches on blackout, I used a Martha Stewart punch and some old Provocraft paper that is about 5 years old. The stamp is from Studio G. Be sure to check out the other DT projects and if you make your own be sure to link it up for some great prizes this week!

Happy Anniversary- red, white and black... again!

I love these colors together... if you cant tell. They are so elegant together and make for great wedding or anniversary combos. The white cardstock is from DCWV it comes embossed so I just used my platinum planet ink and drug it over the raised edges for some shimmer. My stamp is an old Stampin Up! brads I found at Big Lots for a 1.00, and ribbon is black satin from Offray. Thanks for stopping by today! I am entering this in Made by Momo's Tuesday Challenge :)
