Thanks cards

These are some card bases I have had sitting on my desk for a while now, I decided I would finally finish them the other day since all they have needed was a sentiment. I went with Don Juan cutting the Thanks at 1-1/4. All DCWV paper and cardstock.
This one I used the shadow and regular word.
I hope you all have a great day.

Happy Birthday Cupcake Cards

I made these with the same cupcake from Once Upon A Princess like this one HERE only these are cut at 3 inches to fit the smaller card. The tag is from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cut at 1-1/4. I tied it on with some Twinery Twine. The happy birthday is from CTMH. I added some course glitter to the cupcake for some sugar :) pattern paper is from DCWV Sweet Stack.
This is basically the same, I just used MPS stamps and used a border punch on the edge and inked it with chocolate.

Congratualtions- Baby Girl

Every time I make boy cards I usually try to make girl cards with the same sketch.... so here is the girl version on the boy card found HERE! I am re-posting the info there on this post too just so its here.

This card was made all on the Gypsy, I sized everything on there because I wanted to make sure I didn't get the feet too big and also so the scallop circle would still fit nicely on there with some border left around the edges. I used Alphalicious for the circle and the scallop, I used the hide contour button to get the little tiny circle out of the way. These are cut at 2.50 for the scallop and 2.15 for the circle. I cut the regular circle on some shimmer cardstock I had. The feet were cut from New Arrival at 1.50 and I think they are just the right size. Sentiment is from MPS- Happiest Moments set. I also added some eyelets that I've had forever, I forgot how fun it is to use them! :)

This one is slightly different, I changed out the background paper.

Congratulations -Baby Boy

This card was made all on the Gypsy, I sized everything on there because I wanted to make sure I didn't get the feet too big and also so the scallop circle would still fit nicely on there with some border left around the edges. I used Alphalicious for the circle and the scallop, I used the hide contour button to get the little tiny circle out of the way. These are cut at 2.50 for the scallop and 2.15 for the circle. I cut the regular circle on some shimmer cardstock I had. The feet were cut from New Arrival at 1.50 and I think they are just the right size. This first card was actually the last one I made, I had leftover scraps from the others (below) and had extra feet so I inked all the edges and made another card. Sentiment is from MPS- Happiest Moments set. I also added some star eyelets that I've had forever, I forgot how fun it is to use them! :)
This one I used some shimmer Bazzill blue cardstock that was leftover in my scrap drawer. I also added border punch along the bottom. This pattern paper is from Autumn Leaves- Cute World Boy. Thanks for stopping by today!
This has a different pattern paper.

Happy 14th Birthday!

This was a super simple car I made in about 15 minutes. My son had a birthday to go to and the kid was turning 14 so I decided to go with the candle numbers from Sweet Treats. I cut them at 4 inches. I think it turned out pretty cute and to the point :) All DCWV paper. I'm linking this to...

To My Beary Best Friend cards

I love these, I saw them on My Pink Stamper and had to copy them, they were just so dang cute! I used Create A Critter and cut the bear at 3-1/4, paper is double sided from Bo Bunny and stamps are MPS :)
The bear on this card is made with Coredinations cardstock
I wanted to show you what I did for the first layer (at the bottom) I had some scraps I wanted to use up instead of getting out a whole sheet of this dark brown paper so I just cut strips and made sure they were big enough to cover the eyes, nose and mouth! :)

Jenny's Big 3-0H! Birthday Blog Hop

Hello everyone, welcome to Jenny's birthday blog hop. I am so excited she allowed me to be apart of her big day, THANKS Jenny I hope you have the best birthday ever and enjoy your thirties! :) If you arrived here from Kara's Sweet Creations then your in the right place. If you just happened to come across my blog and want to start from the beginning then click HERE. There are some great prizes to win so you should definitely hop along and check out everyone's blogs :)
For my project I decided to go with the big 3-0H theme! All Jenny asked was for us to use 3 colors and some bling. I knew I wanted a cupcake so I picked up Once Upon A Princess and used the one on there, cutting it at 3-1/2 inches. I added some bling for the sprinkles and some course glitter to make it look like sanding sugar. I also tied some Honeydew Twine around the bottom of the cupcake and adhered the cupcake liner with pop dots. The word "happy" is from Just Because Cards cut at 4 inches. I sent that through my Xyron upside down and then added glitter to the top. The "3" and "0" are from Sweet Treats cut at 1-1/2, I did the same thing with the glitter to the top of those and also the "H" that was cut from Cricut Classic font at 1-1/4. Paper is all from DCWV Sweets stack and other DCWV that I've had.
I do have a blog candy so if you want some chances at winning this then here's what you can do...

Happy Birthday Sweetie!

Another fun card from Birthday Bash, this one has so many greeat images on it, I can t wait to make more cards and at the end there is a different animal holding a number up to 10, I want to do all 10 of them so we'll see if that happens :) This guy was cut at 3 inches, he could have been a little smaller, it was difficult to get him on there after I added the hat! Stamps are MPS, all paper is DCWV Dots, Stripes and Plaids stack. I added some dimensional glaze to make his teeth shine and some googly eyes! Have a great day and be sure to stop by tomorrow, its the BIG 3-OH! blog hop for Jenny :)

Happy Bird-day!

I cut these cute birds from Birthday Bash at 3-1/2, stamps are MPS and paper is DCWV and some other stuff in the scrap pile :) I also added a Fiskers border punch to the top and bottom.
This was an extra card I had from a few weeks ago laying on the table, I decided the bird looked pretty good on it :)

Clear cards- miss you and just because

My first clear cards- wedding

These are super addicting to make. I started with an 8-1/2x11 sheet of plastic, scored, then cut in half on the opposite end. I used Sweethearts to cut my rings at 2 inches and cut them twice, 1st with white shimmer paper then using the shift key I cut it out with gold paper. My sketch is actually from an old issue of Sheetload from a few years ago, I miss that online sketch site :( anyway the papers are all from DCWV Linen Closet stacks. I added some stitching around the brown frame and a sentiment form Studio G. I have to add that I really love Studio G stamps but I was getting frustrated with them not stamping great so I stopped buying them. On a recent trip to Micheal's I decided I would try the ink that's made for them and what do you know, it stamped perfectly! I'm a happy stamper now :)
The key to making cards on clear card blanks is to make sure you are cover the inside so there is a place to write on and then also covering the front enough that when someone writes inside the card, the writing doesn't show through ;)
Thanks for stopping by, Be sure to check back all week long for some great cards leading up to Jenny's birthday blog hop on Friday :)
