Treat Box from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More

This was a fun box to make, my friend Savannah and I made these for our kids teachers. We used CTMH Carnation Pink cardstock that has been retired. We cut the box at fit to page on a 12x12 mat but I cant remember what the size ended up being, I want to say it was 8-1/2 for some reason but that's just a guess. Then we cut some white hearts from George and Basic Shapes at 1-1/2 and I stamped and inked the edges of mine with a CTMH stamp set. She did hers a bit differently and I didn't get pictures of them. I also cut 2 strips of cardstock and wrapped them around the outside. I used my EK Success border punch (scallops and dots) on the white and we also stamped along the bottom with a set from Clear Dollar Stamps.
Here are some of the candies I put inside, the "candy heart" set is an old one from Stampin Up! The chocolate cardstock is CTMH and the stripped paper is Making Memories. This is a really cute card Savannah gave me, this turned out super cute, THANKS!

Hey Jamie, Thanks for the sweet comments on the MB. I never thought I'd be teaching!!! I'm still a relative newby myself.
Very cute box etc.Sweet idea for teachers gifts!
When I first got my cartridge, I tried every cut on it so I'd know what they all looked like. I used some old cardstock and learned a lot in the process.
Learning what all the cartridges can cut is so much fun!
