St. Patty's Wreath

A week or so ago I saw this super cute wreath made by Jen at Craft-O-Maniac. I was totally drawn in by her adding in the brown with some different shades of green on her cute wreath. This is what I came up with it's similar but not exact, I don't live near a great craft store so I had to do with what I could find and what I could cut out on my Cricut. I found the fabric and the ribbon at wally world, the wreath was a recycle from something my daughter made but didn't want anymore and the paper for the shamrocks and horseshoes was from my stash. I cut strips of fabric and wrapped the wreath, then I cut my shamrocks out at 4, 3, and 2-1/2 on some chipboard and on my pattern paper. For the horse shoes I cut them out at 2 and 2-1/2, I also cut chipboard out to make them more sturdy. I used my cuttlebug and embossed the circles into the brown paper then sanded the circles. I inked the edges of all the shamrocks and added some twine to one of them and a button with twine tied through to the other. I think it turned out really cute and just an FYI the ribbon I used to hang the wreath is actually a lot lighter then in the picture.
