Mr. & Mrs. black, white and red

I found these in my stash with the black and white already on them they just needed to be finished so I added some red cardstock, red side saddle ribbon, and a cut red tag from Once Upon a Princess at 1-1/2. Then I used a Studio G clear stamp with some white ink from Papertrey Ink and added a couple white pearls from Kaiser Crafts.
The great thing about these is that I have placed the ribbon on here in such a way that you can slide the money or check or probably even a gift card down behind the ribbon and it will hold it in place.

Fantabulous Cricut #25- Road Trip

This weeks challenge at Fantabulous Cricut was road trip and I have to admit I was totally out in left field with this one... this is what I came up with, I used Disney Cars cartridge and cut the car at 3 inches, then I cut the "curves ahead" sign at 1-1/4 and added dimensional glaze over the top of it. I also used pop dots between the white and yellow layers. I used a DCWV paper from the summer '08 stack if you look close you can see different road signs in the background. Then I stuck the car on with pop dots, stamped "happy birthday" with a CTMH stamp and heat embossed that with clear powder to give it some shine.
Go check out all the other DT members to see what they have created for our "Road Trip" theme and don't forget to play along for some great prizes.
Also if you would like to add our blinkie for our upcoming "Back to School" crawl feel free (it's on the top right side of my blog) and don't forget to join us on September 13th for a week of fun challenges and giveaway's!

Wedding Announcements- Deep blue, Dark red

Here is the before piles, this is the best way to make lots of announcements or cards if that's what your doing. You print everything, cut everything and have it all in piles ready to go so you can get to work on assembling them! The flowers are from George cut with the silhouette feature at 1-1/4.
The finished card. Love these pictures they had taken, so CUTE!
All folded up ready to go out :)

Papertrey Ink- Asian Fusion set of cards

I have this Asian Fusion stamp set and thought I would  browse the Papertrey Ink gallery to see if anything popped out at me and sure enough I found the perfect card to recreate with this set. I love how these turned out. I used CTMH ink in Chocolate and Autumn Terracotta; yellow Stickles; Bazzill cardstock in Yam and Honey Embossed dots; and some white ribbon from Offray. I stamped the vase on scrap paper and then fussy cut it out, then I stamped it again where I wanted it on my main card piece and pop dotted it on.

Baby Boy Thanks cards and It's A Boy

I made these for the girl the banner was for (you can check out the post below). I thought she could use some "thank you" cards for all the fun gifts she was going to receive. I used New Arrival again for the airplane and boat cutting them at 2-1/4 with the Bling Prince Charming cardstock then I cut the charm on page 128 in Walnut Bazzill to go behind. I added some tulle to the top and the same DCWV pattern paper at the bottom.

Baby Boy Banner

I made this fun baby banner for a friends shower. I used New Arrival for the "baby" cut at 5 inches, the scallop squares were cut with the shadow feature. The boat and airplane were cut at 4-1/2 inches and the scallop circles were cut from Mini Monograms at 6-1/2. I used Walnut and Bling Prince Charming from Bazzill and the blue plaid is from DCWV. The fun part about this banner is that I didn't know how much ribbon I would need to hang it (the shower wasn't at my house) so when I attached the tulle I stuck it to the letters making sure that the blue ribbon wasn't stuck down this also allowed me to scrunch the "baby" letters closer together or farther apart as needed!

Fantabulous Cricut #23 -The Great Outdoors

Alright everyone here is another super fun challenge from the Fantabulous Cricut. If you cant tell it's the "Great Outdoors" this week and whenever I think of that, usually the first thing that pops into my mind is making Smores so I made a fun little Smores kit complete with marshmallows, graham crackers and the chocolate of course. The fire and marshmallow sticks were both cut at 5 inches from Everyday PaperDolls and then I used Pooh Font Set for the "smores" word and welded it together on my gypsy. My wood grain paper is from ClearlyiStamp you can download it for free HERE, you can print it out on any card stock and have instant wood grain looking paper. I love it and the possibilities are endless.
Here is a close up of my marshmallows, I inked them with chocolate from Close To My Heart and then added dimensional glaze from Stampin Up.
I wanted to show you how I did my fire and marshmallow on a stick, the cuts on the Everyday Paperdolls cartridge doesn't have any features to it so I had to cut them out multiple times in the colors I wanted and then I pieced them together. I also inked the edges of the black rocks with white.
Here is the finished fire.
Thanks for checking out my project today and don't forget to see what everyone else made as well. Also go enter into this weeks challenge at the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog and dont forget to enter into my  giveaway HERE you wont be sorry!

Happy Birthday Mermaid Cards

My little girl got invited to a birthday party a couple weeks ago so I made these cards for the girls... it was 3 of her friends all having a combine swimming party so I tried to match each card with the girl receiving it.

The mermaids are from Paperdoll Dress Up cut at 3-3/4, I inked the tail with a green color added a Peachy Keen face (PK-560) dolly dumplings on all of them and added a prima with a jewel. Happy birthday is a clear stamp from My Pink Stamper. I also added some blush with my chalk. I outlined the seahorse with a green marker and added a wiggle eye and the shell is cut from white pearl paper. Thanks for stopping by today!
