Happy Mother's Day card using Mother's Day Seasonal Cartridge
Hello Everyone! Sorry I haven't been around lately hopefully that will change soon. We had Spring break 2 weeks ago and brought back the flu... I haven't been able to get crafty lately and trust me I'm having withdraws :) This is what I came up with for this month's Chirper Challenge. I am on the design team over there and Dany the "boss" asked us to use pink and brown for this round. I used Storybook for the marquee (the pink piece on the bottom) and cut it at 4-3/4 then I used the my cuttlebug and the birds and swirls embossing folder. After that I glittered just the birds with some Stickles and inked the edges with cardinal ink. I used the Mother's Day cartridge and cut the word at 4 on some CTMH chocolate cardstock then I got my brown flocking from Doodlebug and applied that over the top. I used pop dots to adhere the word and some Primas with more Stickles in the middle to finish it off. Pattern paper is Making Memories.

You may or may not remember this post ==>HERE<== I made a whole set of cards with 1 sheet of cardstock. Sometimes in those Die Cuts With a View stacks you get papers you may not know exactly what to do with them, well here's another idea! All of the sentiments where stamped, this sheet came with just the birds and flowers on it. Thanks for stopping by today, let me know what you think :)

Fun Purse from Forever Young cartridge
My girls were dying to have me make them a purse from this cartridge so since the one loves EVERYTHING pink, I went with these colors for her...My other daughter is more of a tom boy so she decided on these colors and she didn't want nail polish on the front she opted for a bunny from Doodlecharms. Purses cut at 5-1/4 (fit to page)
nail polish was cut at 2-1/2
bunny cut at 2-1/4
Die Cuts With a View cardstock

Hoppy Easter Bunny Card for Cupcake Craft Challenge #80
I LOVE how these turned out! I had lots of fun making them for the Cupcake Craft Challenge. Their theme is "round and round" hopefully this will work. I saw this card HERE from Donna on the DT and loved it so much I made my own version. I went with some Imaginisce, For Peep's Sake pattern paper for my back ground. I used Mini Monograms for the circle cut at 3. The card base is cut from Wild Card on white Bazzill at 4. I used Doodlecharms for the bunny cut at 2-1/4 on smooth white and the shadow on smooth blue. Then I used Tags, Bags, Boxes and More and cut a tag at 1-1/4 and then trimmed about 1/8 off the end of it so it wasn't so big. I used a couple stamp sets from CTMH, first I got the "Dream Big" set and took the hoppy birthday to you! and inked up the "hoppy" using black versamark, then with the "Seasonal Thoughts" set I took the "Easter" and stamped on my tag. I inked the edges with sweet leaf and added a 1/16 eyelet from Making Memories I have had forever and tied the tag to the bunny's ear with some DMC floss. I also used some teeny tiny brads for the eyes on the bunny and some bubblegum ink with a sponge on the ears. I attached him with pop dots and threaded some dollar spot ribbon I got last year around the edge of the card. I also inked the card base with Mustard Distress Ink.This one I shadowed with yellow and used some American Crafts ribbon.

Branch cut from Storybook Cartridge-Thinking of You card
I made these cards for the challenge over on the Peachy Keen Blog, you had to have green and yellow, a 3-D image and a stamped image, and also for Catch the Bug Blog where you had to add green, and also for The Pink Elephant Blog where you had to have green as well so this is what I came up with... I used the Storybook cartridge for the branch, oval and frame all cut at 3 inches. I added some jewels to the branches in random places and attached it with pop dots. I also used some brown ribbon for the 3-D requirement. The pattern paper is from Heidi Grace that I got from Big Lots a few years ago. It has light and dark blue, green and yellow dots on it that are shimmery and glittery! I used my Martha Stewart border punch on the bottom edge of the yellow from Bazzill and the pattern paper, I couldn't decide which I liked best! Then I used a Studio G clear stamp for my sentiment and chocolate ink from CTMH. I flipped a piece of my pattern paper over (it has a shimmery white back) and added it to the bottom of the inside of the card to show the border punch a little more.

Shamrock Card with removable, wearable Clover pin!
Happy March everyone! I made this card a few days ago to put in the store where I sell some of my cards, I thought it would be fun to make it a wearable pin for older kids. I used some DCWV pattern paper and a Martha Stewart border and corner punch for the edge. The green glitter paper is from the citrus cardstock stack also DCWV. I cut the shamrock at 3 from the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge. I had to use the multi cut feature because of the glitter paper being so thick. I also used Tags, Bags, Boxes and More for the tag cut at 1-1/4 then I hand stamped the "got luck?" with a small alphabet stamp set from Hero Arts. I threaded a green button from Making Memories with some twine and then adhered it with some glue dots. You can see what kind of pin I used in the last picture. I found them in the beading section at Wal-Mart and they had a sticky back. I just punched 2 holes in my pattern paper before I stuck it on the yellow cardstock, then I slipped the pin through the holes and closed it up. Thanks for stopping by.
