mini card holder

Here are my mini card holders, they hold little 3x3 cards.
here are some of the cards I put inside. If anyone knows where I can find 3x3 envelopes I would sure appreciate a suggestion. THANKS!

This card is made with the Heidi Grace clear stamps called "Thank You" then heat embossed with black

"HO,HO,HO" banner

Without further ado here is the Christmas banner I made just barely... I love how it turned out. I glittered the white part on Santa's hat and his coat at the cuffs and down the middle. I glittered the snowflakes with blue. I cut out the H's and O's and then applied some versa mark at the bottom to hold the thick white embossing powder to make them look like snow. For the tree I did the same thing with the thick white embossing powder and then I also added gem brads and glitter brads in different sizes for the presents and then wrapped the ribbon around it. Thanks for looking!

"Mr & Mrs" paint can

Someone asked me to alter a paint can for a wedding they were going to, this is what I came up with and a card to match...

Christmas card / money holders

I made about 40 of these. really easy and fun, I was able to get 4 cards from 1 12x12 piece of card stock. I stapled the inside piece around the bottom to create a pouch. glued another piece to the front, stamped "merry Christmas" and adhered the little images with a pop dot.

another box-o-cards

This is my new favorite thing to make, I have probably made 10 of these since I found the idea on inking idaho big and small. I gave this one to my sister :) I used Pebbles in my pocket "make a wish" paper pack and Close to My Heart "happy birthday" stamps. then I heat embossed with white, I loved how they turned out and so did she!

Give Thanks banner

Here is the "Give Thanks" banner I made. this one uses Paper Doll Dress Up (Pilgrims cut at 11 1/4) and Alphalicious (letters cut at 4 1/2 short stack) click on pictures to enlarge :)

suitcase card

I made a couple of these cute little suitcase cards for some people moving out of our ward. I think they turned out pretty cute. I used the bag cut from the "New Arrival" cartridge at 6 1/2 (I cant remember now.) Then I cut it again in white for a liner on the inside one size smaller. I added the lighter brown strips of paper and then stamped the postmark from Close to my Heart set "air mail" and added a little metal rimmed tag. ENJOY!

Halloween treats

This is what Monica and I made the kids for Halloween. They had to come T-O-Ting here 1st. These are super easy
3 sheets of 12x12 cut into 6x12
6 Hershey bars or Kit Kat's that's whats in the 4th one over
glue or double stick tape
paper crimper
circle punch
ribbon
scraps of paper to wrap around the middle
a cute spider or a stamped image will work too.

*This is not my original idea. I had the link sent to me from a Stampin' Up demo. and I cant find the site now so to whom ever you are THANKS! The kids LOVED them!!!

I scream, you scream, we all scream for Ice Cream!

All 108 piled up!

Just a sampling.

What they look like with the money inside :)

My mom in law needed some birthday cards that would hold money so she asked if I would make her some. This is how they turned out 108, YES you read that right, cards with little pockets for holding some ice cream money. The best part about these little cards is that the only paper I had to cut was the actual base of the card, all the patterned paper is from my scrap drawer. Now you know why I keep all those scraps Monica ;)

Candy Corn anyone??!!

This is what I have been working on lately. Terracotta pots painted like candy corn, aren't they cute? :)
close up.

Here they are all finished and ready to go out. I cut the "BOO" from alphalicious and then glued it together and taped it to a skewer, the spider is from paper doll dress up. There is candy corn inside these that's why they are in the bags.
close up of the finished product! :) I linked this up at Craftaholics Anonymous.

WCMD Cards

So on Saturday for those of you that don't know it was World Card Making Day! I am so glad to know that people set aside 1 day a year (although it could definitely be more) to do nothing but make cards. I had the chance to get together with Savannah and Andrea and get some more cards done for my craft fair. Thanks girls for helping me get all those little 1.5x2.5 pieces of paper cut for the front of the cards. I ended up getting the 5 pieces stuck down on Monday, (66 total) stamped the saying on Tuesday, bought the ribbon Wednesday and tied them all together Thursday. 6 cards per pack with envelopes for $8.00. let me know if you want some :) Thanks again Andrea and Savannah for your help.

here are Savannah's crafts

here is Savannah's Frankenstein that she put at the one end of her Trick or Treat banner
her "BOO" project, I love her little head stone at in the bottom of the "B" pot, great touch. She also added some white fibers under the rim of her pots so it looks like spiderweb.

and aren't these cards the cutest, she got the idea here... http://www.creatingkeepsakes.com/content/view/6141/
tell Justin thanks for going hunting so I could hang out with you all week. I had a blast!!!

BOO!

well Savannah and I saw this project in Paper crafts magazine on page 85 and then we saw it on Barb's blog so we thought what the heck we can do that! we started it last night and finished it today. super easy I think the total cost per project was only about 6.00 so it was super cheap as well. I will post pictures of hers tonight when I go over to make cards for World Card Making Day! :) I linked this up at Craftaholics Anonymous!

Trick or Treat revised

so after looking at my mummy and vampire I thought they needed to be WAY bigger so I used Andreas expression and made my mummy 10 3/4 inches and my vampire 11 inches. I also added a white brad to his suit coat and am really happy with how they turned out. I will have to take a picture of Savannah's Frankenstein to show you, that's what she did instead of the vampire.  I linked this up at Craftaholics Anonymous! You can find the original post HERE.
