Minnie Mouse Party!
I had the opportunity to work on some fun decorations and party favors for a friend of mine. She wanted some candy sticks with pink and white candy inside and since we live in the middle of nowhere I had to get creative. First I tried those whopper strawberry milkshake candies which where all different sizes and the smallest was too big. Then I thought about sixlets or M&M's but couldn't find any in town so we settled on these pink camo jelly belly beans my husband found at Cracker Barrel for me. The Minnie heads are cut from Mickey Font at 1 inch. All circles and scallops were cut from Art Philosophy; white-1.15 inch; pink polka dot- 1.55; black scallop 2.10; pink scallop 2.60. I also added a little adhesive jewel to the center of her bow :)
Big Minnie Mouse head was cut at
11-1/2 inches. Minnie shoes cut at 4-3/4. The letters were cut at 3/4-1 inch I just kinda went back and forth between the two sizes.

Cross cross box with card set.
I found this cute pattern on Pinterest and had to give it a try. I used not quite 2 pieces of pattern card stock its Bo Bunny Abby Road Vine and about 1/3 of one 12x12 sheet (blue) card stock as well as the 3 sheets of white card stock for the card bases. Krazy for Kraft trendy twine. Stamp sets used are all close to my heart, banner wishes, hello tweety and just for you and ink was heavenly blue and chocolate. The directions for the box can be found here.

Lucky your my friend!
This is a card I made a few weeks ago. I know st. Patricks is over but I still wanted to share. Ink is close to my heart. Stamp is from Unity. Used a chevron embossing folder for the background papers and fussy cut around the stamp then adhered it with pop dots. I added a square brad in the center of the clover to finish it off and tied some peapod twine from The Twinery around it. Card stock is bazzill

Twine Holder
Here is the twine holder my husband made for me. the main part is just a piece of wood we had laying around. I went to the store and found a dowel that closely fit the size of the spools and then had him cut lengths of it to put the spools on. He painted the whole thing white for me and then we used some smaller pieces of wood and attached those to the wall first and then attached the main piece to those at an angle.
