Mother's Day letters

This year instead of expecting my kids to not fight and carry on all day, I decided that I was going to write each of them a letter so they knew how much I love them and without them I wouldn't be a mother.

hanging ornaments- blue

One more variation of the cards I have posted this week. Changing up the colors can do a lot if you like the layout of the cards and since I have had 2 craft fairs to make cards for I wanted lots of variety for buyers. I did the same thing on these cards by first stamping the image of the ornaments on the green cardstock (this one is from Clear Dollar Stamps but has been retired) then I stamped the same image on pattern paper. I cut the images out of the pattern paper and adhered them on over the images on the green cardstock with pop dots. The sentiment is from Close To My Heart's- Holiday Cheer set. I also added some glitz glitter to the stars on this one as you can see in the bottom picture. You can see the other examples by clicking HERE and HERE

hanging ornaments- pink

These were pretty easy, all I used was a stamp set from Clear Dollar Stamps called Ornament Accents but it has been retired :( I stamped the image where I wanted it, stamped it again on some pattern paper and cut those images out. Then I pop dotted them over the top off the images on the white card. I added some ribbon and a cute sentiment from Close To My Heart- Holiday Cheer and it was done :)

Happy Halloween -easy cards

I love all the fall paper, especially the Die Cuts With A View stacks, i just cant get enough of them.. although I should since I am running out of room to store them... anyway a friend of mine needed some Halloween cards for her nieces and nephews so I got busy. I only had about 2 hours so it had to be easy and since I loved using this candy corn and jar stamp set from Clear Dollar Stamps so much I decided I would go with it again. After stamping and coloring in the image I backed it with some black cardstock. I used last years  Halloween stack of paper from DCWV and some twine from The Twinery. my cute stamp is from My Pink Stamper, hope you enjoy!

Clearly I Stamp Challenge #20

This month's challenge over at ClearlyiStamp was to create a project using 3 shades of blue. I chose to go with these from bazzill. Using my gypsy and the Storybook cartridge I cut this shape to fit my stamp just perfect, the snowflakes were cut from When It's Cold Outside at 1-1/4. I went with the Wagon Wishes stamp set from Clear Dollar Stamps and just used the snowman, that's the great thing about this set is that you can use the wagon with any image OR just the image alone. I colored his scarf, nose and ear muffs in with my BIC Mark-it markers then I used black stickles on his coal buttons. I got my Pebbles Inc, shimmer chalk out and gave him a light dusting all around with that but you cant really see it. I also used my Martha Stewart punch for the bottom. For the snow I used white puff paint.
Here is a little bit different picture showing the snowflake stamp I used behind the snowman on the white cardstock. I stamped those with platinum planet ink.
For the bottom inside of the card I used a strip of the dark blue and my border punch on it as well.

Clearly I Stamp challenge #19

This months Challenge at ClearlyiStamp was Fall Feast. Create a card or project that had food on it. This is what I decided to go with since I had this stamp set out. I used Baked For You Tags and took the little "homemade goodies" circle and the gingerbread man stamps, layering them with circles from Mini Monograms. The red circle/tag and the green are cut at 2 and the white circle is 1-3/4. I stamped the gingerbread guy and then colored him in with my BIC Mark-it markers then fussy cut it out. I attached him to the white circle with pop dots and then also attached the green circle to the red with pop dots. I used some silver ribbon and wrapped it around the entire card then I tied the ends together on the one side. I also used some silver ink around the white card base and added some silver stickles around the red circle. If you look close you can see red stickles on his buttons.

I'll see you through the storm...

I made these for fun the other day, I have had this stamp set from Clear Dollar Stamps for quite a while and never used it so I got it out the other day and played around with it. This one is called Charliene April Showers and it is so cute, there are a few more stamps that come with this set that I didn't use. I love Clear Dollar Stamps for there great prices :)
I colored these in with my stamp pads and aqua pen, all paper is Die Cuts With A View. I also added some jewels.

From Our Web to Yours!

I made this card for the ClearlyiStamp challenge this month, their theme was to use black and orange with purple. I have had this stamp set called "Web Notes" for a little while and never got to use it so I knew right away I was going to pull it out and give it a try :) I used Versamark ink with the rectangle stamp (it's actually a web) and then clear embossing powder on top. I stamped the little spiders with purple ink. I used versafine in black to stamp the sentiment and then clear embossing powder on that as well. Then I got out my new drippy goo punch from Martha Stewart that my sister got for me.. THANKS sis :) and punched the bottom of the orange then I punched a purple scrap piece of cardstock and adhered that under the orange. I added some orange ribbon and tied a bow and then stuck the spiders and sentiment on with pop dots.
